Clearly I don't support the Trump agenda, but I cannot bring myself to blame Trump supporters for thinking the way they do. Lack of education aside, these folks are much like the Pakleds on Star Trek Next Generation (see youtube link below) They talk in 1 and 2 syllable words, engage in name calling i.e. "Dim's, Libitards, Snowflakes etc. and instead of thinking in a debate forum, they simply regurgitate sound bites from Conservative media. In many ways, the educational system has let them down, but what is worse, their lack of higher brain functions have made them susceptible to messaging from these same Conservative media groups. Simple concepts such as "The Government" The Deep State" "Socialists" "The Educated Elite" are easily made villains, since Conservative media knows full well Trump supporters, either don't have the reading comprehension to research what these things really are, and therefore cannot make independent decisions based on the evidence and data, or they are too lazy to bother. I am sincerely hoping something can be done to help these people.

Does the fact that you bemoan one-dimensional, black-and-white thinking--while also perpetuating a narrative of Trump's supporters as monosyllabic cavemen--not give you any pause, any cognitive dissonance? Yes, it's a pointed question, but it's something I struggle with, too. 21 House districts voted for Obama in 2012 and Trump in 2016. That's only 2 shy of the number Democrats need to regain control.

Even if you really believe what you wrote, then you're still not doing your cause any favors. I am increasingly sympathetic to the argument that we now live in a world where voter enthusiasm and turnout take priority over outreach to undecided or independent voters. But why shoot yourself in the foot unnecessarily?

With that said, by all means, criticize Trump. And criticize Trump's enablers, i.e. those in the White House and in Congress who damn well know better.

McHill, it you'd like to record a discussion between a Trumptard like me and yourself, let me know.

I'd gladly engage in some Skype conversation with you, put it up on YouTube and share it here to give everyone a good idea of what we sound like.

Well Mr. Philokalia (1079 RHP) I am just a regular guy, nobody special, but I'd think hard on that one if I were you. I want to repeat however, I really don't blame you for thinking the way you do. In many ways, it's not your fault. 🙂

So let me get this straight, you are blaming public education or the media or both?

If Mchill wants to put down Philokalia for his RHP rating,
then why does he not just challenge him to a game?

Oh, you want to talk about my ELO? Lol, ok.

    Yeah, let's do it.

What do you prefer? Skype? Google hangouts?

Let's talk about why you are wrong about Trump supporters, and I'll record it (and you can record it, too) and I'll put it up unedited and everyone can hear you tell me how you feel that Trump supporters are dumb and I'll tell you why you are wrong.

    It's free and easy.

Oh sure, we can do a game and then I'll lose.

And you can make fun of me for being a worst chess player.

    I don't mind.

But if you think you're so smart, so much smarter than us, let's do a live conversation. (McHill).

I wouldn't call anyone out who didn't want to be called out. But this guy thinks he's very smart and so much smarter than all of us so let's have some fun.

The problem is that trump is a retard, his policies are retarded, his tweets are retarded and every time you hear his supporters, they sound retarded as well...

It’s very, very difficult to come to any other conclusion than that the trump and his supporters are retards drowning in a mire of moronity.

Seriously. I’m not even kidding here. Every single thing he or any of his supporters say is retarded.

It’s like watching an adult version of gravity falls; intelligence fails.

It’s like Forrest Gump went full retard and somehow invented a stupidity gun and blasted 43% of Americans with it.

Go get your space force to build a wall so nobody can see your racist pussy grabbing moronity...

Sir, it's clear you're letting your emotions get the better of you. The fact is there are some well educated and intellectually gifted Trump supporters out there. I was speaking of that block of 62,984,828 Trump voters in general, and if you would please read through the links I posted, you'll find there are more than a few grains of truth in what I said. 🙂

Now, please breath deeply and repeat after me:

    I'm calm 😴

    I'm calm 😴

    I'm calm 😴

Come on. Spain should build a wall across the Sahara. How is this retarded?

    Hahahaha.

"According to Josep Borrell, the US president brushed off the scepticism of Spanish diplomats – who pointed out that the Sahara stretched for 3,000 miles – saying: “The Sahara border can’t be bigger than our border with Mexico.”"

    Sad.
I think the Sahara thing pretty much sums up the madness of moronity.

Why don’t the Greeks build a wall between San Francisco and New York.
Hell! Let’s all build walls everywhere!

And why stick with walls. What about moats?
    That used to work wonders!

Don’t be silly shav, since helicopters, moats haven’t been any good. You can just fly over a moat.
    That’s why we need walls.

Sometimes I think my brains are just gonna leak out my ears and form a droplet on the carpet.

Well, when we finally wake up and start sending people to college on the Federal dime, I would agree to let conservatives (and kids of conservatives) in first. The ONLY way we're gonna break the cycle of stupid is to educate these people.
