@Kevin-Eleven saidIrish Americans vary widely in their levels of racism. Some identify primarily as "white" and are racist. Some identify more as "abused by the English" and are more comfortable with minorities. Some identify as "Catholic not Protestant" and they like to hang out with Hispanics. The latter would be my Mother's side of the family.
I haven't made the rounds of the globe yet, but in my experience some American Irish have been rather racist -- maybe something to do with a melanin deficiency after we all lost our fur? (Could be wrong.)
That said, I'm pretty sure the Irish North and South would not appreciate the help of the likes of "Cliff Mashburn" -- probably soon to be incinerated.
Cliff is a Nordic American; he's not Irish at all.
@AThousandYoung saidAnd of course due to history Irish Americans have a strange love/hate relationship with Italian Americans.

Some clips from Oz, an HBO style prison drama. Not the most realistic but they do address the ethnic dimension in the the US pretty well.

Decades ago I read something about musicologists wondering whether the Irish might be related to ancient Mongolians because of some musical similarities.
I also happen to know that over here in the USA (as an American who knows a little bit of history), just a century or so ago Irish immigrants were shunned and "Irish need not apply."
And sure, I know we live in times when internet blowhards like me might opine on each other's countries and cultures without experience or standing, but shouldn't the Irish at least be happy about the influx of other cuisines? 😉
Man cannot live upon fish and potatoes alone.
@Kevin-Eleven saidHe's been banned more times than I can count on both hands. If he gets banned again he'll come back with a new name.
It's possible "Cliff Mashburn" has already been banned from the site.

Well it certainly wasn't in the employment office looking for a job, that's for sure.
that justifies the thread, right there
@Kevin-Eleven saidExactly. You also need copious amounts of beer, and the Irish have that figured out pretty well 😉

@Cliff-Mashburn saidIf you know for sure, please specify what they were in line for.

@Rajk999 saidYou had better watch your step then.
Regardless of how hardened and embittered they are ... nobody cares. Their job is simple. Obey the law, be thankful for what you get, and get your butt out there and work. Failure to do these simple things could result in being deported back the country from which you ran in the first place.
