Since that idiotic series of tweets announcing a future ban of transgender people serving in the US military, some started a fun new hobby.
The main reason listed was how much it costs to cover medical procedures for trans men and women, amounting to 2 to 8 million dollars. The hobby consists of looking up other expenses the military and the US administration has and just compare the two. It's fun.
This thread won't address the fact that an orange coward that used his father's money to dodge service has the balls to kick out men and women actively risking their lives in their country's wars.
It won't address the idiocy of announcing policy change through twitter or the fact that the second tweet appeared 9 minutes after the first leaving Pentagon officials to wonder "Oh crap, are we invading someone?"
It won't address the lie that he talked it over with his generals because Pentagon declared it was completely surprised by it and Mattis was on vacation when he found out (was appalled by it)
This is only about what other stuff costs.
