It's really pretty simple. Recent events have focused interest on police treatment of blacks, notably deaths. Hence the need for action, a part of which is to say black lives matter. This draws attention to an issue that whites apparently don't have. The protesters are protesting what is (apparently) mostly white police treatment of blacks. "All lives matter" may be true, but it diverts attention from what the protesters see is a race issue.
You know, I saw one of those "Cops' episodes where white cops stopped a car and opened the trunk and this crazy white girl pulls out a gun and starts shooting at the cops, missing them all, but they wrestled the gun from her, got her under control and started yelling at her 'are you crazy'? and hauled her off.
Does anyone here seriously think if that had been a black girl or man for that matter, popping out of a car trunk, they would have handled it the same way?
It is pretty clear, they would have shot the black person 20 times or so,
Then claim, He (she) had a gun, what were we supposed to do? He (she) was a direct threat to our lives.
But that is not how they handled the situation of a nutter white female actually bearing a pistol and shooting at cops. Kid glove treatment.
