And why have lesbians put themselves at the front of that alphabet train?

How many lesbians were involved in the Mattachine Society or in the Stonewall Resistance?

why females instead of non-men?
why asians or blacks instead of non whites
why french, spanish, danes etc instead of non-americans?

does the above give you a hint why your question is offensive or do you want me to spell it out some more?

Group identity is very 'in' these days.

Personally, I identify as cis-human, waiting for a Vogon ship to fly by and take me off this spinning glorified asteroid, becoming daily less and less mostly harmless.

Be careful; their poetry might (MIGHT) be more unbearable than a Trump speech.

Because the French, Danes and Spanish were around before your stupid American asses.

I must take exception to the hate speech you are disseminating here.

WHAT are you referring to when you say "non-H"? What is "H"? Human?

Are you familiar at all with the first Pride march in New York City on June 28, 1970, exactly one year after the Stonewall Uprising? Ever hear of Ellen Broidy, in connection with it? Of course not.

"At the E.R.C.H.O Conference in November 1969, the 13 homophile organizations in attendance voted to pass a resolution to organize a National annual demonstration, to be called Christopher Street Liberation Day." Ever hear of it?

"By all estimates, there were upwards of 3-5,000 marchers at the inaugural Pride in New York City, and today NYC marchers number in the millions. Since 1970, LGBTQ+ people have continued to gather together in June to march with Pride and demonstrate for equal rights."

NOT JUST GAYS. There was representation from all LGBTQ+ organizations. There were all stripes of the Pride Rainbow at Stonewall that day.

You would do well to avoid eschewing the support of other Pride groups in your tantrum that Gays are the only ones that matter. That is clearly offensive to those other groups, intentional or otherwise.

Just refer to the group as "Pride" people. It's just easier. They have Pride parades every year so it makes sense. Way better than the alphabet soup.

Problem is each of the letter people won't have their own letter anymore so we'll see the narcissism revolt to this idea.

Or one could just use LGBTQ+.

Why do people everywhere seem to have a problem with people not like them?

What happened to "live and let live"?

How about simple respect for other Humans? It seems too difficult for some.

Oh, well, I assumed he meant non-Humphrey--after all, we can't all be only slightly taller than Peter Lorre, not pleasant to look at, talk with a lisp, turn away Ingrid Bergman with another man, and disappear into the fog with Claude Rains, now, can we?

Easier for whom? Should acknowledging people be a matter of convenience? as in i only show you basic decency if it's convenient to me?

"They have Pride parades every year so it makes sense."
they have st patrick parades every year should i just think of white people as drunken idiots who dress in green?

there are hetero peoole in pride parades and there are lgbtq people not attending pride parades

i invite you to go to a rowdy group of football supporters and just refer to them as "football people" . then say they all (including their arch rivals) look the same to you

let me know how it goes

I take your exception to your characterizing my posts as hate speech.

However, I do try to grant you some slack as in general you seem to be delusional to a greater extent than average, not to mention rabid, arrogant, controlling, combative, and conflict-seeking.

Since you yourself don't seem to mind issuing personal attacks and mischaracterizations, here's one for you: if they still had fern bars, the ferns would burst into flame if you walked in.

I nearly choked on a hairball of astonishment.
