I've added a 'Developer' link to the 'Forums' drop down menu:

    http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/rhp_all.user.js

Added the FEN string directly to the games page rather than a click away:

    http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/game.user.js

Any chance of getting this in the analyse board section as well so that it is easier to copy FENs and put them in posts.

By the way, thanks for all your work on greasemonkey; it really contributes to making the site even better.

I've added the FEN strings to the analysis board and the script can be found at:

    http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/analysis.user.js

However, there are some limitations and they are listed at the top of the script.

    Hi ouroboros

I've just installed these scripts on Firefox 1.0.8 (with gm 0.53).

Is there a way to see the FEN, on the mygames or individual game playing page, without seeing the board? If I can see the board, the exercise of trying to visuallise from the FEN is a bit pointless.

    Thanks,
    Gezza

It could probably be done. But if this was done on the active game page, you wouldn't be able to enter any moves.... There would also need to be a way to turn this feature on and off because I'm sure that most people wouldn't want to use it by default.

    Install:

    http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/hidepieces.user.js

There are no options to disable this currently. Right-click the monkey icon and you should be able to disable the script 'RHP Hide Pieces' by unchecking it. I'm not sure if this exists in GM 0.53 or not though. You may need to go to 'Tools' -> 'Manage User Scripts...' and disable it from there.

I have to go through the menu, probably due to GM 0.53, but it works. Thanks!

I still see the last move's source and target squares (highlighted), but for me that is still helpful - if I was good at visualising the board, I wouldn't need to practice ;-)

    Cheers,

I've added a couple links to show and hide the pieces on demand.

Thanks. This works a treat for me. Now I have no excuses for being lazy.

    Install the Greasemonkey extension from:

    http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/

You will need to restart your browser after installing it.

    Then go to:

    http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/

where you will find a list of Greasemonkey scripts that add functionality to RHP. Click on one of them that you want to install. Along the top of your content window, you will see the little Greasemonkey appear saying that it is a user script. Click on the Install button and that's it.
