    As mentioned, I've been working on a Firefox extension for RHP. I'll probably be rolling some of the functionality from the Greasemonkey scripts into this extension (when I figure out how).

    However, the current version has a 'Games Waiting' notification in the status bar (the one at the bottom). Clicking on the notification will pop open a game window.

    You can grab it at:

    Let me know if you run into any problems.

    EDIT: Fix the URL.

    It might be interesting to know for you. I am running Suse 10.2 and FF 2.0 Download and install worked perfectly. Have not had any games waiting yet so I cannot comment on that.

    One little point of attention, to me it would be preferable if clicking on the notification would open a new tab instead of a new window. Not a problem just a little something that i would like.

    Hmmmm... I thought that you could force Firefox to open links in tabs. I'll look into changing it. It's probably harder said than done at my current knowledge level.

    i tried out with my settings that way, even the menu links on this site where opening in new tabs still your ext is opening in a new window.

    Go to the options of the extension. There's a place to change the 'host' and the refresh interval. Currently, the refresh interval must be between 5 and 9 minutes.

    Got it - thanks.

    It would be nice if, instead of opening in a new window, I can set it to open in a new tab. Other than, it's a useful extension. Thanks.

    To make it open in a new tab rather than a new window, change the line:
    window.open(RHP.host + RHP.pathNextGame);

    in rhp.js to:
    openUILinkIn(RHP.host + RHP.pathNextGame, "tab" );

    See the following page for more information on this function:
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Open_page_using_tab_settings

    Thanks for developing this; it's a very useful extension.

    Cool! Thanks for the info. A new version should be released with the next couple of days as I want to make a few other changes while I'm in there.
