Ĉu vi parolas la Esperanton?

Se vi parolas ^gin, vi estus senti hontigita! ^Gi estas malbona lingvo.

Esperanto Day (or Zamenhof day, whatever) is on Dec. 15, so I figure I would go on my usual Esperanto rant (yeah, I know I've had like 2 or 3 Esperanto rant threads). It's a terrible language, mainly because it was created by an eye doctor!! Ido is a little better, but still, it doesn't work. The only reasonable solutions so far have been Novial and Interlingua. If anyone has a good IAL they want to share, feel free to. As an aspiring linguist, I am creating a language called Unifikato, which I think will be next best IAL. Wish me luck!!

I believe through extrapolation, and using examples from the animal kingdom where everybody speaks the same language (well, they sort of speak) and from looking at ants or bees.

The important thing to note is that it is a scientific fact.

The idea of a universal language that everyone speaks was a good one, but Esperanto never caught on. English has taken it's place.

You're right about that, but I think English is too hard. You know there's a problem when even Americans can't speak it properly.
