Any reasoning behind that. I've checked and the odds look correct, and the sums add up. I can't see what's wrong with it except that it's free money and so all my senses say NOOOOOOOOOOOO it's a trap.

These are extremely common, there's no catch they just work on the statistics of what they win off the average punter, apply the ratio of punters that they think will bet beyond the free bets and they come up with a figure of what a new account opened is to them.
