Ain't no reason the general forum is this slow.

Stop taking life so seriously, because if it was that serious, you wouldn't have made it this far.

The people aren't relaxed and comfortable anywhere right now, unless they're either very rich or completely crazy. Maybe someday, in a few years.

@My-King-And-I

Sorry, but I felt like sleeping in today, then I spent some time reviewing my tax return before submitting it.

In my life I have been through a few "impending horror" moments, and maybe at this stage of the game for the sake of my own health and sanity I'm deciding to be patient, keep an even keel, and not allow myself to be roiled about what might happen or how things seem to be going.

Some things are bad, some things are good, some things are good but taken for granted and unappreciated.

However, I'll admit that when the forums wherever go really quiet I begin to wonder whether I might have missed some important news, such as the nukes are flying, or we have all decided to shut off each other's banking systems and utilities (water, gas, electricity, internet) to give each other what for or whatever.

It would be nice to think the mystery drones are here to save us from ourselves, and to help tip some balances if we on our own cannot manage that -- but another possibility is that their own similar societies have somehow survived, only to become roaming jackass mockers -- one of the ultimate Cosmic ambitions.

Perhaps you haven't noticed but Trump's unstable mind set and Tariff's have everyone around the world on edge. He is backing off a bit now, but that could change tomorrow or the next day depending on his mood.

If this were Star Trek, Trump would have ended up in sick bay during Season One of his administration. 😉

You know Kevin there was a time Canadians looked up to the Americans and were proud to have them as our neighbors. With Trump in the White House all that has changed and we can't Trust what his government is going to do. We understand it is not the American People and many of them feel the same as we do. It is like breaking up in a long term Relationship is how it feels right now. We are now looking for other Trading partners, which I never thought would happen as our trading is so intergraded especially in the making of Automobiles.

After all he only got 70 million votes out of 340 million people approximately. We are wondering how long it will be before people really turn on him. He was suppose to lower prices not increase them.

I think he got around 77 million votes which was almost 50% of the voters who voted for either him or Harris so there weren’t 340 voters.🤔😲

Ok lets say the each got 77 million votes which didn't happen that only adds up to 154 million People. The United States has roughly 340 million people so that makes a lot of people who didn't even Vote!!!! Would have made a difference IF they had voted for Harris! I would say that leaves a little over half the population who didn't Vote!

Trump got 77 million, Harris 74 million and there were a few million who either didn’t vote or voted for write ins. There are not 340 million eligible voters in the US. That may be the total population and there are restrictions on who can vote, age being one and citizenship too.

@Great Big Stees

Ahhhh, I see I didn't know so that is a lot of people who are not eligible to vote. This could have made a big difference in the outcome of the election.
Thanks,
