Careful not to get married again Stees - there is still time. πŸ™‚
Not that I would ever suggest Stees should charm a wealthy young woman into marrying him and then bump her off for the inheritance, but as time goes on, I think this would be the time. πŸ˜‰

Be careful with that! This isn't the Victorian age when people just described traits instead of diagnosing each other.
@Kevin,
Unlike you I really don't care what others think. Hell, if you got to appease everyone your not being your self.

So, some kind of narcissistic personality disorder going on up there? πŸ˜‰

Nevertheless, may I ask if you had kidney stones prior to your dialysis days?

These days, I wonder why we can't just have a chatbot concoct some kind of electrolyte-balancing drink.

The other thing I'm concerned about these days is that my late Dad and his late next-younger brother both had Parkinson's (which in my late Dad's case led to a difficulty in swallowing, which resulted in his having a feeding tube implanted in his stomach) -- and I have also noticed a little bit of a tremor in my left hand.

Plus there's the more obvious consideration that I'm almost 66, never owned a car, always been a bicyclist -- but of course if I continue to live, obviously getting around on a bicycle might cease to be an option before the machines cradle me in their arms of loving grace.

@Kevin,
I am sure you are an expert on narcissistic personalities.

No you may not ask, what would kidney stones have to do with Kidney failure? Perhaps you could educate me on that.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, horrible way to go. I want to go in my sleep next to a naked women. πŸ˜‰

Dear Rusty, maybe you should get out more.

I was hoping you could educate me re: the correlation between kidney stones and kidney failure before a piano falls on my head (for instance).

@Kevin,

I suggest you talk to your Doctor about that who could inform you if you are really concerned, and not just blowing a lot of hot air. Do you think having Kidney failure and being on Dialysis 3 times per week and sitting in a chair with 2 - 15 gauge needles in your fistula is a picnic? Having Kidney Stones would be picnic next to going through that 3 time a week for 4 hours!!!

Huh. In my case I wouldn't mind fading out without such distractions.

Sorry to learn about this.

Also, whatever I learned about narcissism I probably learned about here, even before Trump's second term.

Hoping chatMED can come up with a palatable drink to balance your electrolytes.

Thank goodness you're not a malignant narcissist, though! πŸ˜‰

Kevin,
I really don't believe you know much about Kidney failure.
Everyone has their electrolytes checked in routine blood tests, now you are showing your lack of knowledge. Maybe give it a rest before you make a complete fool of yourself.

Sir, I do not disagree.

Just yesterday I learned of Johnny Carson's prescription for living a miserable life:
1) Use chemicals to alter your mood or state of mind
2) Envy
3) Resentment

Dear Rusty, by my chatMED comment above I meant to say that I hope sometime soon we can invent some easier and more pleasant alternative to dialysis.
