2015 has been a good year chez FMF, as ever. Indeed, the last "bad" years - pre-FMF - were perhaps 1985, 1988 and 2004, and even that's only relatively speaking.

The average rating of his opponents has been higher than his own,......your own incidentally have been lower. (In other words he has on average been playing people stronger than himself, while you have, on average, been playing opponents weaker than yourself).
*Edit, thought i better check my own 'average opponent' and it's a close run thing. 🙂
