What's the point of them? They're the same thing.

I'm sure there's other reasons aswell.

"red hot pawn" think about what tounge in cheek thing this is supposed to mean. When you you say to your friends I was looking at some "red hot pawn" on the internet would they think you were looking at a chess site? Here lies the potential problem.

I think they set this up because, but,in all innocense they attracted the wrong kind of people. That is why they give you all those screens.
The people who stop are chess players.
The people who where looking for more than a chess game are gone.

I occasionally pick up on a thread of "fear" around the issue of playing RHP while at work. The implication is that if you are playing chess, you are lazy. I am curious if there are any of you who receive affirmation or curiosity while playing at work. Does it ever contribute to the work environment in a good way? Kirk
Originally posted by kirksey957My boss knows I play here at work. While I can't say he encourages it, he really doesn't mind it either. The other people at my work place use other sites to play games, but nothing like chess. Overall, I think he appreciates that what I do in my spare time requires thought, especially as opposed to playing tetris and such. When I see him he ocassionaly even asks me how I've been doing at my chess site. π

But what makes RHC different?
