So here’s the situation

January and February were all spent in the Philippines, instead of renewing my visa again I decided to take a flight to Singapore, I’m now in Malaysia with my flight back to Philippines set for tomorrow: into Manila. For anyone not paying attention to the Coronavirus update yesterday the president of Philippines came out and said that the entire metro Manila region was going to be in lockdown from Sunday for a month. So My flight tomorrow should go ahead and I should be able to get out of Manila ok, problem is that I have a flight booked back to the UK via Dubai from Manila on March 23rd.

So probably it’s going to be cancelled? Go and see what happens or just book a flight back to the uk from Malaysia or Thailand before all travel is banned? 🤔

Sure, get out of Dodge as quick as you can so you can infect even MORE people with the virus than already are. Great thinking there.

Well I understand each and everybody who wants to be home.
I think if it was me I would try to take the most direct way. If you are in a Lockdown you are there we hope you have Internet then 😉

Assuming that you've exercised due diligence and have not been in any high-risk social settings:
I'd advance my token to "Go" and screw the $200.
Isolate in "Jail" or home for at least a fortnight.
You'll have no "monopoly" on misery. But, you'll be home.

What ya worried about? Time, for you, seems to be of little consequence as can be seen in the time it takes you to move in our chess match. Is it into it's 3rd year now? 🤔

I notice a lot of people who were saying oh it is only the flu now have a different out look on things. Even the Trumpster is singing a different tune. Possible he could wind up with it was in the same room and close by a person who tested positive for it. His twitter account will go even more nuts then if that happens.

That is all that has shut down all professional sporting events and many other things.

Our economy will suffer, you may wind up stranded somewhere....but hey it is only the flu.

As a general rule of thumb, anything that is highly contagious and which we have no natural immunity to 'is' a problem.

But please, don't bulk buy toilet rolls and rice.

Too late ghost people are doing and have already done so.

I am usually stocked up anyways so not getting any more than usual. I could probably live for 6 months withought going to a grocery store.

I never said it wasn’t a problem, all illness are a problem. The problem with this one is the over reaction of governments and the media non-stop updates. So Tom hanks has the flu and his son said he’s ok, good to know.

The real concern is that due to it being so highly infectious that at its peak we won't be able to treat all the elderly and vulnerable people who need to be treated with specialist equipment.
