Solve the Number/Word Equation

Solve the Number/Word Equation

General

2 edits

It's very simple. A number goes on the left side of the =, and initials of the words that define the number go on the right.

Example: 100 = C in a M;
Answer: 100 = Centimeters in a Meter

24 = K in P G

Whoever solves this problem, writes the next one. Good luck!

Now try a hard one. 🙂

I’m sorry Kewpie, this isn’t correct.

It's 30 years since I last saw that sheet. My bad.

Yours was still a good guess at my ‘equation’.

I had to google the correct distance of a light year, but I find the science of light fascinating. Earl posted the correct mathematical expression, but I do like to see all those zeros.

Here’s something you may like; it’s video from a YouTube channel I’ve been watching recently called “Veritasium” which I recommend. In this particular video he answers his son’s question “how are rainbows made?” and through experiments he highlights the common fallacies and misconceptions, while exploding the incredible light-science behind the phenomena.

27 minutes well spent in my opinion.

Nice one.
What I mean is, this thread won't last, lack of interest (so far)

This kind of thread only interests monkey-brain people like me. Most forum-posters don't have the mindset. It could have been placed in Posers & Puzzles but people there only seem to be interested in advanced-level maths, stochastic and probability stuff getting takers.
