Hasn't moved in more than 3 months, has 6 vacant slots he isn't using .... I doubt if embarrassment is what's involved here.

Public Forum Posting Activity: May 2005 to July 2013 = 5 posts in seven years and two months
(3 in Clans Forum, 1 in Tournaments Forum and this one)

Observations: Smiffy's a focused man with a love for chess and dedication to his clubs and clans. He posts out of necessity, which suggests resourcefulness in meeting public challenges privately. To approach total strangers for the purpose of asking for financial assistance must have taken considerable need and humility. He offers unlimited games and friendship (for a year) and implied gratitude in return. We have no way of knowing, with certainty, whether "embarrassment is what's involved here". We may, however, surmise this thread represents an appeal of last resort. Seems to me that he deserve to be given the benefit of doubt; treated with respect and dignity, rather than as the impersonal butt of detached humor.

Total strangers? He's been on the site for 8 years, owns a club, and he comes begging in a public forum? I don't think so. Far more likely is that some prankster family member's got hold of his login. Remember, he's not playing ANY games at all.
