Challenge settings and clan games

I can't find anything about this in the help pages. I was wanting to set my challenge settings to prevent random challenges but I don't want to affect the clan leader's ability to assign me games. Can someone confirm whether the challenge settings will affect the creation of clan games?

Change your settings to what ever suits you best. Your clan games will come your way with the clan settings for time limits regardless of your personal settings
