I still cannot change avatar pictures???

When I try to change either one, I get big red banners indicating

Sorry, this file type is unsupported.

but i'm using the same avatars that have been going up for 2+ years???

I've seen a few changes to your avatar since this thread was created. It's usual to post an acknowledgment (thank you or mea culpa, as appropriate) or an indication that the problem still exists.

I agree. Otherwise time gets wasted investigating phantom issues. (This is particularly true of site feedback.)

Could it be that some of the images exceeded the upload limit of 4096 kb?
