It appears that I can only reply and quote to one post at a time.
Is it possible to reply to two posters or more including their quotes in their post?
I feel it could be useful so that if two posters have different views; one could reply to both and explain or throw in a third view.
Maybe I should have posted under site ideas but I wanted to see if there was an answer beforehand.

It can't be edited to change content - though you can remove bits to make what you're quoting pertinent.
Using the [ q u o t e ] & [ / q u o t e ] tags in your reply(remove the spaces) gives the following type of quote.
Here you can put anything inside that quote including re-wording - so when you see these quotes, they can't be trusted to represent an actual quote.
