set piece game start command?

I. have set up positions for a set piece game but I cannot find a command button to activate the game.

If you have arrived at the board editor page directly from the "New Game" page, then a "Set Piece Game Start Position" option is available in the left hand column.

If not, copy the FEN, and start the process again from the New Game page, and set the board from the FEN you created previously.

The process you describe seems complicated (clumsy?) , especially the step creating & use of a FEN, rather than a simple "Challenge" link on the page I find myself since starting with the "challenge" link on my opponent's ID page.

When challenging someone, you are directed to the "New Game" page.

Assuming you are using a desktop/laptop (non "mobile" device) :

1 "Set Piece Game" option in the left hand column.

2 Set the board up.

3 From the left hand column, select "Set Piece Game Start Position".

This then returns you back to the New Game page where you can start the game as you would any other.
