HI aiko -- I don't understand.... I went to the url as staed in your message, but only sawmy login screen (jtab id) and no games listed. Hope this is not a stupid question, but what does that mean?

Check out the site announcements forum.

I personally think Russ has been a bit generous to the lazy mob who can't be bothered to visit rhp whilst online.

But I'm not really into claiming hollow victories so I'm not too bothered.

i think russ is right:
timeout and timebank will still run down ... it only means you cannot claim the win - yet.

i never use my mail notifications - i just delete and ignore.
i always move asap ... unless i think i need to think.

but ... some people do rely on notifications ... give them a chance.

Many people do rely on move notifications. Remember there are a large number of people who don’t participate in the more sociable aspects of the site, and without a move notification, they do not visit.

That is probably because i play at www.redhotpawn.com, my guess is you play via www.chessatwork.com or www.timeforchess.com or such. The same chesssite really, but with different url's. Each url needs its own login (uses the same login as the site you are playing now).

Otherwise, just copy the '22992' part (and maybe the page-number part) of 'threadid=22992&page=1' of the url i gave you into the url in the location box of your browser. You will see the same thread, only on the url you are using yourself.
