Tournaments and Vacation Flags

I seem to remember that when the vacation time-out protection feature was first introduced at RHP, there was also a provision that the vacation feature would not be honored in any tournaments.

Am I just imagining this or was it true at one time? I also think this policy was clearly stated on the tournament entry page.

Does anyone else remember this?

I joined in 2010 and the vacation/timeout funtion was universal then.
Perhaps you are thinking of the grace period allowed before automatic timeouts in tournaments(i.e if the skull is not taken)
I don't know if this still applies without checking
