I cannot stomach the stuff. It really does taste...well to put it politely... horrible.

It tastes nothing even resembling coffee. It's like saying near beer tastes like the real thing.

The instant coffee I'm drinking - right now as I type this - tastes pretty good and I speak as a person who roasted and ground coffee for himself for 8 years while living in Japan.

Of course. But with this thread I'm looking to weather the snooty slings and arch arrows of 'it's undrinkable' and 'it's a waste of time', and "to each his own then" is just way too cuddly and conciliatory.

I checked my quiver and find none there. I will however have a look at my supply of slingshot "shot" and only because I like you.
