1200 beginner?

Wow, 1200 beginner has some real chess talent. I'd say beginner would be more like triple digits.

Be wary of p1200 players (provisional players) as although some of them may be new to the site, they may not necessarily be new to chess.

To clarify 64's point, when a new player joins the site he's awarded a provisional rating - p of 1200.
The rating only becomes live after completion of 20 rated games although his provisional rating will be higher or lower by then
