I am on the west coast of the USA, trying mighty hard to forget about the arrogant idiot my country elected President. We used to have an old coffee house in my city where chess and go were played 18 hrs a day, but was demolished in favor of a steel and glass high rise building. Your youtube clips reminded me of that place. Parks are similar here, though skateboarders rule the park scene, not chess players.

If any of you ever visit NYC, you're all welcome to play at the Central Park Chess & Checkers House. Best place to play in Gotham, as we don't allow playing for money, or any other kind of hustling. There are several "House" players(I'm one) that will take on anybody wanting a game, we don't care how strong or inexperienced you are.
