    I can accept a draw offer in an ending in which I had been fighting for survival, for example, just a few moves before bare Kings or due perpetual check.

    If I ever play again in an OTB tournament, it will be go for the kill.

    I would reconsider your solemn oath. There are rare times during a 3 fold repetition situation, any other move except your repetitive move(s) will cause you to lose the game. A 1/2 point is better than no point at all. 🙂

    And if the dude has a 2600 rating and you see a 3 fold rep you wouldn't take it?
