    ...that I will never ever offer draw again in an OTB game.

    Nor that I will accept easy and quick draws.

    I can accept a draw offer in an ending in which I had been fighting for survival, for example, just a few moves before bare Kings or due perpetual check.

    If I ever play again in an OTB tournament, it will be go for the kill.

    Well you SHOULD'NT offer a draw when you are a queen up. Jeesh.

    Seems to be a story here? Can we learn from the example?

    At least GP can blog about it: 'Here's some games from RHP where some fools offered a draw while missing their mate in one!'

    I would reconsider your solemn oath. There are rare times during a 3 fold repetition situation, any other move except your repetitive move(s) will cause you to lose the game. A 1/2 point is better than no point at all.

    And if the dude has a 2600 rating and you see a 3 fold rep you wouldn't take it?
