    That is even better than Nakamuras 8 knight mate! I love the way he mates with Qd1!! Perfect 😀

    White should have resigned after Ng1 😉

    Not to nitpick, but isn't there a 30-move rule? Black needed 33.

    It looks arranged to me. Still, quite a pretty final position.

    Erm... no, there is no such rule. There's the well known 50-move rule, and since 2015, the less well known 75-move rule. There's no 30-move one.

    I stand corrected. I think maybe there was when I played in a league, but that may have been peculiar.

    PS Black missed an earlier mate at move 41. ... Ra1+; 42. Rb1, Rxb1#

    Although I would have put White away with Qa1#, I thought the ending was well thought out! Beautiful ending!
