I recently bought Modern Chess Openings, 15th edition. I think it's my 3rd purchase of the series, going back to ca. 1970 when I bought McO-10 in the red and black hardcover edition. Ah, the memories. This has been my go-to type of openings survey book.
I have undertaken the task of copying the ECO codes into the book. I know it's probably to big an ask for the codes to be included in the text. I imagine there might be copyright restrictions of some sort. If only my ancient version of Fritz (10) would take names as entry information but names are much less reliable than the ECO codes.
