A native American Chief has 3 daughters whom he wants
to offer to one of the tribes braves.

One daughter sits on an elephant skin, one daughter sits on a rhinoceros skin and one daughter sits on a hippopotamus skin.
(The chief is extremely rich and imports all his skins from Africa)

The Chief tells the young brave that he can have the daughter
on the hippo skin as his wife OR both the other daughters!

    Why?

The hippo skin is worth the combined value of the other two skins.

I think I'm going to regret saying this, but...

The squaw of the hippopotamus is equal to the sum of the squaws of the other two skins.

    You ruined it! 😠

The squaw on the hippopotamus is equal to the sum of the squaws on the other two hides.

    And yes it's awful - 😞

Bad medicine. Does Pythagoras know that the rhino is a critically endangered species?

Don't worry. It was a white rhino skin. Not endangered.
