Where's the king?

A perfectly correct game led up to this position when the white king was swept off the board.

This looks flawed. Black is in check so either white moved last OR white king is blocking the bishop. The white king cannot be on b3 or c2 since that would be check.
Therefore white moved last. White has therefore moved his king from either b3 or c2.
It would have been illegal for the white king to have been on c2.
Therefore white has just moved his king from b3. (To a3 or c3)
But how on earth did black deliver double check? What was blacks last move?
What am I missing?

Nice one. I'd followed exactly the same reasoning, but had missed the last step.

i havent read anyones answer or reasoning so here is mine

The white king was on b3, then moved to c3.
And the double check was caused by en passant.
The black pawn was on...b4, i think?
The white pawn was on c4
b4xc3 e.p.
then Kxc3.

The order is
1.c2-c4 b4xc3 e.p.
2.Kxc3 the king gets knocked off
