    In your case, you can watch the pizza and modulate how much goes in your maw.

    It the NASA probe, it all happens using computer control, humans cannot direct the action because the asteroid is millions of miles away. So if you have a probe 1.8 million miles away, the signal delay is 20 seconds for two way signals.
    If 18 million miles away, 200 seconds for two way signals. This asteroid is way more than 20 million miles away but you get the picture, hands on at that distance is impossible because you can't see the first movement in some process so you have to use AI trained to do the job.
    Clearly it is not perfect but they are dealing with the overbite....
    They will get the samples home in a couple of years.
