    Most of this video didn't show much of interest to me BUT just for about 6 seconds at around 6.00 into this video below, it shows a strange walking contraption that appears to be made of bamboo and is powered by the wind to slowly and gently walk along a beech.

    What the hell is it?
    Can anyone give me the name of this thing? Does it even HAVE a name!? If not, any suggestions on what we should call it?
    Can you give any weblinks explaining what it is?
    I want to know more about it.

    Seems like makeshift wheels that get pushed by the wind on the umbrellas.
    What it is or its purpose is beyond me.
    Probably just art.

    I was right 🤗

    Google "Theo Jansen wind powered sculptures"
    Wiki says he is a Dutch artist. And each sculpture already has a name.

    There are 4 YouTube videos that show up.

    I did that and here is one such video;

    Perhaps we can just call them 'Jansen machines'.

    @humy
    Yeah, saw these creations a couple years ago.
    So the wind just pushes, I was thinking there was something mechanical going on with wind turned into propulsion but it is simpler than that. The museum piece shows a couple of them just being pushed by humans so the wind just pushes on the whole assembly.
