It is a major 5 minutes if it is intentional and the player is cut! 😉
I believe a game misconduct goes along with that! Then it is reviewed by the league and player could get fined and suspended for a number of games.
We don't see a lot of high sticking anymore, but still a lot of stick work below the shoulders! Wrists are usually a favourite target!
That only gets you two minutes for slashing!
