Some time back, there was a suggestion in Thread 198871 on introducing time tags when linking to youtube files.
It was met with a vague answer "There seems to be no reason why it can't be done."
So is it in the list?
@Ponderable
This was an interesting one!
So, you can paste links, as before, but now the parser is a little more flexible.
//Remove spaces for this to work
Paste in a video with no start time
[you tube]dQw4w9WgXcQ[/you tube]
Or with a start time - add a slash then specify start time in seconds :
[you tube]dQw4w9WgXcQ/30[/you tube]
// And with a title :
[you tube RickRolling Changed My Life]dQw4w9WgXcQ/30[/you tube]
// Or easier still, just paste in the URL, and RHP can do the work, if it is as follows :
https://www.you tube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&t=10s
you tube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&t=20s
www.you tube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&t=30s
https://you tube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&t=30s
// And the URL shortened version :
you tu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ&t=30s
That should do it 🙂
edit : Added support for shorts URL too.
