    The medicine he used can ameliorate restricted blood flow. Apparently some people believe it can also improve healthy blood flow and others aren't sure about its efficacy. How this would help with curling - no idea. It's not a particularly aerobic sport.

    However... he doesn't seem to have taken it for medical reasons, any more than Froome "needed" his TUE, so there's definitely something iffy going on. Maybe something ineffectively iffy, but iffy at any rate.
