    Forecasts here please

    Semis

    Federer v Djokovic (sp)
    Nadal v Gasquet.

Murray to lose to Gasquet - Federer to win

Lindsay Davenport to spring a surprise in the ladies event just 7 months after having a baby.

Federer will win the mens. No doubt.

I'm tipping Justine Henin for the womens. Serena Williams will be the big threat.. I'd say!

I'm picking the #1s to win (Henin and Federer), no surprise there.

I finally got to see some of the open this morning as ESPN2 was showing Roddick's loss. It was quite well played. Unfortunately I had to go to work as the 5th set was starting.

My only hopes are that TV in the U.S. gets smart and starts showing the Bryan brothers and more Justine!

I haven't managed to watch any of the Aussie Open, as I'm the only tennis fan in the house. I hate missing Grand Slams too.

The Women's quarterfinals look quite exciting.
    Serena Williams vrs Jelana Jankovic
    Venus Williams vrs Ana Ivanovic
    Justine Henin vrs Maria Sharapova!!!

What a beautiful final. There has always been a soft porn element to womes tennis, but this year the cream has risen to the surface in both talent and looks.

Ugg, I don't care for the looks (or grunts) Sharapova, but I can't question that Ivonavic is a looker (as are Henin, V. Williams and Zvonerava).

Did you see Tsonga destroy Nadal? I was absolutely shocked. It looks like we've had lots of talent breakthroughs down under (Tipsarevic and Baghdatis quite impressed me).

FedEx vrs the Djoker should be worth watching. Hopefully Novak doesn't melt down like he did in last years US Open final.

Just saw this thread...Ah yes...tennis seldom looks as sweet.

Yes, I do watch more when there are attractive women involved

That Ivanovic really knows how and where to sweat as well.

You're all way out in your predictions! Both men & women's finals!

But the Ivanovic observation in the latter post was, indeed, merited!

So you don't like looks and grunts when you are in charge of your balls??
