Bowling=81

An 81 year old bowled a perfect game.

I thought this thread was going to be about you going bowling and shooting a 81.

How disappointed I am that I can not mock you now.

The closest I've come to a perfect game was bowling 4 strikes in a row at the start of the game... 'perfect game entered my head and I flapped and knocked off something like 4 or 5 pins in the next throw. I don't know how they have the mentally to pull off 300.

Plus professional bowlers, my fingers hurt after 2 rounds and I switch to my left hand, how they play throughout the day is beyond me.

The highest I ever got was 149. But I always break 100.

In school one of my friends got a 34.

149 is pretty good. My average is probably in the 140s or 150s but I can be incredibly streaky. I've struggled to score 100 then in the second round hit a 200, think my highest is 217 but not sure. Bowled a 150 with my left hand and didn't shut up about it for about a week 🙂 Normally happy if I reach 100 with my left.

Remember going bowling with an ex, she didn't hit a pin the first couple of ends then BOOM! strike.

How I bowl is kind of weird I don't even put my fingers in the holes but I use them for support. As I say this into Siri my wife is laughing. 😉

On the news they said that 50,000, 300's are bowled each year. So one every 10 minutes.
