    Tyson - Douglas

    YouTube&feature=related

Tyson in his prime, Douglas fighting the best in his career, completely outboxing Tyson early on. If you don't know who won, it is not easy to guess. I don't know though I have my suspicions who won so I am actually really enjoying it.

Douglas is a technical boxer, Tyson an aggressive, savage puncher; Douglas the bigger man, Tyson small, compact, full of the natural raging chemicals of fury he was born with.

Douglas is a different kind of boxer from Ali and Lewis, just as Tyson is a different kind of slugger than Foreman. He doesn't like to clinch; instead he chooses to slug it out for a moment then skip back, and he's very good at it.

    Don't you remember that?
I remember the fight not the acorn thing though.but, calling him acorn makes sense .

From that clip Tyson looks better to me. He overall seems to have better discipline and form.

He keeps his hands up. His punches are crisp and clean. He's tough as nails and has a chiselled physique.

Morrison looks a bit sloppier IMO. I'll have to check out his fights one of these days. What are some good Morrison fights?

I agree.Tyson in his prime I think would of beat Morrison most of the time.
They both hit like hell but both are not immune to getting knocked out.

Some Morrison fights w/ big names (that he won),

    -George Foreman
    -Pinklon Thomas
    -Razor Ruddock
    -Tom Tomashek

    All on Youtube

Morrison - Foreman (old Foreman looks like, not the young collossus)

    YouTube

EDIT - Wow, Morrison has HIV!!

Excellent fight! I thought at first Foreman was embarrasing himself but then his plan began to show. Morrison's form was top notch!

Morrison reminds me of Buster Douglas actually. Mobile but aggressive.

Lewis is a BIG man! Morrison was out of his league.

Here is a classic big man little man fight that went the other way.

Mayweather is the better boxer by far. I never imagined De la Hoya would have such an aggressive style, but it makes sense. He looks like a street fighter more than a boxer in that fight.

I have been following De la Hoya since the Olympics.
In the Mayweather fight he was a shell of what he was in his prime. Same with the Manny Pacquiao fight.
Now,to me Manny Pacquiao is the most exciting fighter out there. And if he continues along this path he will go down as one of the greats ever.

The problem is - he seems like he's on some kind of stimulant, and he refuses to get tested.

Pacquiao will beat Mayweather. Mayweather is a passive, "gimmicky" fighter. The guy who will beat Pac Man will be a methodical, (relatively) heavyset puncher with an iron jaw and abs of steel. It will be bloody, something like Morales - Pacquiao:

    YouTube

Pac's weakness - and strength - is that he's comfortable getting hit. He puts the other guy on the defensive and that means he doesn't take too many shots, but I don't think he can handle punishment for long enough to make it 12 rounds against a puncher like himself.

Pac's coach says fighters are already tested all the time and Pac has a phobia about fighting after giving blood. Seems reasonable.
