    Wait now.....the tournament isn't over yet, they could meet in the playoffs, Although Russia has a really strong team this year.

    Ovechkin & Fedorov. Also, goalie Nabokov and Tyutin from Rangers and Markov from Montreal are coming. They should've taken Kovalev too, but he's deemed "too slow".

    That's terrible. Kovalev arguably had one of the best years of his career.

    Kovalev, himself, is upset about this. He didn't get the invitation to the national team for the second year in a row, although he was a captain in the last Olympics

    That is just plain not right ! He really did have the best year, if not of his career, the best in recent memory.
