Who ever thought employing David Pleat was a good idea?

I'm a Luton fan and he managed us in our golden years.

Plastic pitch, thugs up front and in defence with a midfield that could pass.

Not only was he a great manager, he was kind to. Often stopping to pick up women who were obviously freezing standing on the side of the road.

I actually thibk he is one of the better pundits as he tries to explain properly what is happening with a goold level of enthusiasm. Far better than Pleat

Big Ron has never been replaced in my opinion.
There are far too many commentators that sit on the fence on every issue... at least Big Ron voiced his opinions and spoke like a bloke in the pub would... the same with Keegan when he commentated... both were entertaining to listen to.

    I agree.

Surely the Big Ron has served his sentence by now!

Nah.... I just remember loads of useless garbage!

Let's face it, I don't have to have instant recall to remember all The Blades achievements, so I have to fill my head with summat else!
