can't wait for the next winter olympics to watch the exciting sport of curling
originating in the perth region of scotland
this rugged fast paced game had my hair standing on end
along with it's bagpipe drill team
Scotland rocks!

I also find it breathtaking. It's like chess on ice.
The most eagerly awaited sporting event of the games.

the only sport where you can nap and play at the same time
I think I would prefer to be the player that releases the stone. Infinite fitness and skill is necessary for this position. Sweeping just looks like hard work and mostly a waste of time.

Major tournament's held in perth all year round teams from far away countries take part in this fantastic game.

I agree. We don't get too see much curling here in the USA, since Americans would rather watch a bunch of men with overactive pituitary glands, ram a ball through a hoop. European sports are superior.
I see Australia are currently ranked no. 28 in both the mens and womens.
Expect a vast improvement over the next few years. We're expecting to medal in at least one of the two.
A recent state game attracted a crowd of 42,000 fans over here. When NSW snatched the title in the last few seconds there was pandemonium. In the ensuing violence 8 people were hospitalised and 12 people were arrested.

What a game !!!!
best game in the world we have been playing it in perth since 1511, the year not 11 minutes past 3 just in case some one jumps in.
non stop excitement unlike padded rugby, i mean how can a game meant to last 60 minutes take FOUR AND A HALF HOURS TO PLAY. perhaps to sell more hot dogs?

We haven't been playing it for that long over here but the game is growing in leaps and bounds.
The sale of brooms has skyrocketed over here.
Members of the Australian curling team are treated like sporting Gods over here. Absolute legends !!!
