    Okay: I give up.

The Lerner's determination to consistently 'build' losing teams far outweighs my ability to support and hope for a winning result from the Cleveland Browns. It has become quite clear that their one recent winning season was a result of happenstance and a weak-donkey schedule... not any coaching or playing acumen on the part of the organization.

Their business savvy is beyond reproach: Randy routinely comes out on top when it comes to his business deals. Heck, look at what he's done with this turd house! The team continues to lose, but the morons who follow refuse to stop believing, refuse to stop buying!

I will not watch, will not support another game until the team is taken over by those who actually love the game. If this team was run the way Gilbert runs the Cavs, we would have had a championship years ago.

How many championships has Gilbert won with the Cavs?

The Browns are in like company it appears.

You could root for the Bengals who are playing well despite whodey's rants tot he contrary.

And, as a bit of a bonus, the Bengals' owner is named Brown, so you could still be rooting for the browns.

The Bungs should now start to loose since they have to play real teams now. The Stoolers just started their decent back to 500.

As for Freaky, welcome aboard my friend!! Life is too short to waste your time watching any NFL Ohio teams. None of them have an future in the NFL.

This reminds me of a joke I used to tell.

What is the difference between a Bengals fan and a Browns fan?

The Bengals fan knows they are a horrible franchise. Threads like this give me hope for Browns fans.

Wow, the game I saw yesterday had the Bengals giving the Steelers (the team
currently tied for best record in the AFC with the Texans) all they could handle.

Whodey, even when you get a product worthy of your support, you bitch.

You are a fair weather fan to be sure.

    I owe the team nothing.

What has the organization given Whodey?

They are one of only 4 teams in NFL history to go 0-4 four different times. The Bungs are not only one of the teams, they have done so 6 times. No other team has and 5 of the 6 times have been under the Mike Brown era.

They are one of an elite few without a GM and with a skeleton crew of scouts. After all, who needs scouts and a GM when things are going soooo well for your organization?

The Bungs have gone the longest of any NFL team to win a playoff game, including the Browns. If memory serves, the last playoff win was in 1990.

The teams during the 1990's were so bad, Mike Brown erected a tarp to protect the players from their own fans from pelting them with anything they could find.

The team has been so bad in the past, the city sued Mike Brown, and tried to renig on the new stadium they built him, courtesy of the tax payers of Cincinnati. They underlined in the contract that they were providing the stadium so that he could field a competitive team. The next thing you know in comes Marvin Lewis and Palmer and they have their first winning season in about a decade and a half. No more law suit.

ESPN this year ranked the Bungs, not only the worst NFL organization in the land, but the worst professional sports franchise. A dubious honor to be sure.

So please spare me your indignation. Mikey desrves every last venemous gasp!!

Other than that, he really is a nice guy from what I hear.

    😛

As for the Stooler game, I watched them for the first time this year and ended up tunring it off in disgust at half time. I don't know which game you were watching but it was clear to me they were outmatched.

LOL....I saw them storm back from being down 17-0 to make it 17-14.
Then I quit watching. That is probably why they lost.
    Those Steelers are sneaky.

Overall performance of the 2011 NFL roster of thirty two teams during Weeks #1 - #10 against casino morning line point spreads has produced an underdog dominance mirror imaging the past two years: Favs 65 points and Dog 81 (total games 146). An even more interesting and improbable fact is that the disproportionate Fav/Dog mix is also reflected almost equally in the performance profile of Home versus Away teams: Home 63 points and Away 83. Last thing I'd ever do is mislead you into thinking all underdog teams on the road have a lock on most points. They don't. Dogs at home lose. Favs on the road cover morning lines.

Postscript: Equilibrium question of whether the second half of the season fav/dog and home/away

performance will correct or further accentuate the imbalance makes the cheese even more binding.

Here's why there is no incentive to improve the team:

HA! That's my first NFL team from the late 70's/early 80's. Only a team that I root for can actually make it to the Super Bowl, beat the other team convincingly, but somehow lose it by referee!
