Bookies saved a £100 million pay out after they got beat from Croatia.
I don't have any stats no one bet on England in the third place play off.
Final today if Croatia win like you predicted I will be first to day well done to you.even though it will cost me a good pay out as I have battered France in the last week.
With Croatia having better odds now I could lay some off and still make a good profit.
But not my style all or nothing.
2 or 3 for a France win.

The handball definitely wasn't intentional.

It would have been nice for Croatia to win, given how much smaller their country is and how much less funding their team gets.

Possession counts for nothing only goals matter.
Clear handball does not matter if it looks unfair the referees decision is final.
Croatia can walk tall put a great effort in to the game. But they did have a easy passage to the final compared to France.
Any way France won by two goals even although their keeper made it look closer than the game actually was.

Most impressive thing in the final. See how fast the police ran to catch the pitch invaders.

Only they're own fault they could not win in 90 minutes.
France had Messi led Argentina to beat.
Then the Suarez led Uruguay.
Then the superstars of Belgium all done in the regulation 90 minutes for each game.
Now Croatia scrap past the might of ...er...Denmark on penalties
Then play Russia the lowest rank team in the tournament again sneaking by in penalties.
Then get a over rated England team in the semi.
A obvious easier route than the French got.
The extra day to recover is none sense. They had FOUR DAYS rest before the final.
Wimbledon is just finished see how much rest they need between games and are playing alone so much more energy is needed.
In my job I wish I could get four days off after working for two hours.

But the penalty is completely ridiculous, ruined Portugals chances and did it tonight again in the final. The ref saw it in live play and didn't give it, VAR was brought it for 'clear and obvious' errors. Both arms were coming down naturally at the same time and it hits his hand... had the ref given it live there would be debate but he didn't amd took about 5 minutes looking at iy before deciding to give the pen. If there's debate over the decision it shouldn't be overturned. Complete farce.

The defender was making him self huge to block the cross.
Clear penalty ref should have gave it straight away.
Movement was towards the ball as well.
Plus refs decision is all that matters.

And he looked straight at it at first and didn't give it. Look at the screen for ages then gave it, ref didn't award that pen, he was told to give it. The argument isn't was it a pen or not, people can debate that... the point is that VAR was supposed to be brought in for 'clear and obvious' mistakes and this was not one of those. If some people and I'll add a lot of ex players on that list say it's not a pen it shouldn't have been overturned. That's the point.

What about Portugal vs Iran, did you see that one? Joke of a world cup.

In fact Griezman lost my sympathy after I saw that ir was a swallow. Players shouldn't do this. They should require to testify if they knew that there was no foul. Thye should get a ban if the sitaution was clarified and get a lifelong ban for the second time.

Robbie Fowler slipped and got a penalty for Liverpool. He argued with the ref there was no contact but refs decision stood.
