Do you know how much games ended 0-0 in 2008-2009 Serie A?
I'll tell you, a grand total of 15 out of 380 games, a miserable 3.94% meaning that out of 100 games only 4 result in a 0-0.

That makes clear how much you know about italian football.

I didn't count but I bet there are way more in the Premiership.

The sport is the same where you go in the world, its a great sport.

but for unpredictable results and a closer on the edge of your seat stuff the English championship wins in that department even if its not the highest level of the game.

I don't care that much about the Championship, for what I've seen the Blue Square premier is equally entertaining but that's not good football.
Most entertaining leagues are Brasilerao and the Liga, hands off.

How can we really say what league is the most entertaining. Surely everyone is going to enjoy the league that their team plays in the most.

Also, do you mean hands down Rav?

Good reply....football fans would enjoy the league their fave team is in especially if they play well.

Well, it's out of argument that France Ligue 1 sucks and it's not entertaining while it's clear that the Liga is really fun to watch.

For example, if you enjoy the Blue Square premier because you're a Torquay fan then it's a completely different matter.

The national side doesn't directly correlate to the quality of the teams in the nation's league though does it?

    e.g. Brazil

palace embargoed for not paying up the players bonuses. pimpsmuff's in limbo sell off players to pay the bills as the fakir is nowhere to be seen. lots more taking lower division players on board to reduce wages.

Championship is tough but L1 is rugged and will be very hard fought. Leeds are getting desperate and Norwich have bought 11 new players to make the fight back.

Southampton are starting the season on minus 10 points but with ex hammers boss Alan Pardew late on board but working the window anything could happen.

Portsmouth and Reading down from prem and CCC.
Palace and Ipswich or Swansea for promotion to prem.
Most interesting will be the playoffs in L1. Leeds, Norwich,
Brighton MK dons and even (outside) Saints.

Yes, it does, since the best players come from Brazil and they surely don't start their careers in Europe or else, they FIRST play in Brazil, THEN all clubs offer them tons of money to play for respective clubs.
Where do you believe Kakà, Maicon, Julio Cesar and such built their skills?
Surely not in the Premiership, Serie A or Liga.

Brasilerao has lots of good teams and players, the fact is that the vast majority doesn't know them until some big european club buys them.

Just tell me a nation's league that sucks while the national team kicks ass.

Then the possible options are :

    A-you've been proved wrong
B-other european "20 odd very average sides" are worse than Italy's ones.
C-you still believe you're right but fail to provide evidence to support your "theory"

Options don't exclude each other. 😛

.. and then at the peak of their careers they move to more lucrative pastures and help form (with other imports) far stronger leagues than their own.

    That's my point.

    You obviously missed it.

There are 20 odd averages sides at present, does that help you?

Historically they have won more but are currently inferior to the likes of ManUtd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca who are far stronger than their domestic competition.

    That was my point.

You obviously missed it .... again.

    A - Nope
    B - Irrelevant
C - Neither have you provided me with any to persuade me that I'm wrong.

PS - Try understanding what I'm saying before bashing out some nonsense again.
