America doesn't put enough behind soccer to ever be really good. Sure, we'll be good some years, but we'll never be able to compete with other nations that live soccer and only soccer.

Dude our team is really young (a lot of the top scorers are in their mid-twenties) and they are still doing well, plus around half of our players on the national team are playing in countries that live and breathe soccer. So I think we are doing fine at the international level, and we will be doing fine in years to come.

Thanks Petrosian.
And give it up for Team USA...20 years ago we didn't belong on the same field with the top 50 teams in the world. Today, we COULD beat any team in the world on any given day (witness the fact that we were the only side to best the eventual champs in last years Cup.)
I like our chances versus the Argentines in the first round of the Copa.
What is Stan James paying on that one? I think I want to bet it too.

Seitse: Where are you man?
Your boys made it to the finals.
XNZ is gone and Mexico is in the finals, looks like Feliz navidad and cinquo de mayo all rolled in to one.
