You know what's funny? How the half of Russia was
shocked because Russia was defeated by Finland
    precisely on the "Victory Day".

True, but they earned a second chance today. Is there a "Something Day" today in Finland? 😉

Yes, we have "0-3 at the 10:26 of the third set" day... tic tac tic tac

    🙂

Let's see how it ends. If we win, I will come here and celebrate in
    your thread 😉

Not a good game for Russia. They couldn't realize their potential and played without creativity. Zinoviev must've scored into an empty net. Back to the drawing board after beating Czech's for bronze, hopefully.

Granlund simply sodomized the Russian defense.

I am amazed at how bad losers the players were, going
rough and whining whenever they were outplayed.

Anyway, now we can go and be defeated by Sweden, lol 😛

Disagree with the bad losers part. Just the opposite, Bykov said the Finns deserved their win. The fans here are saying that the team lost their combinational style that allowed them to be so dominant in Soviet times. Now, we are copycats of the North American dump and chase game. But, in terms of talent we are still better than anyone.

Yup, arrogance is still the main feature of the Russians 🙂

Russia played well. Several strong teams out there. Russia is one of the best.

They played well against Canada, but poorly against Finland. Maybe Datsyuk would've made a difference, but he was busy in Detroit - San Jose series.

Um. IME, personal arrogance is not typically Russian (except for certain politicians who shall remain nameless); but national arrogance very much is.
