hargreaves was the main difference against roma defending + attacking and against arsenal sat there and done the job that was asked, if you want to compare hargreaves v carrick theres only one winner in that catergory! hargreaves by a mile🙂

I agree that Hargreaves is the better player, certainly more experienced. Carrick has been quite impressive lately though, playing with real confidence. Definitely shaken off having to take over Roy Keanes number.

He does tend to lose concentration. Hargreaves has been a real (if slightly overpriced) plus for Man Utd this year.

Shows Wenger he should get the cheque book out and spend big when he needs to.

Agreed, Owen H was superb against Roma and was good today but thats only two games............Carrick has produced on a consistent basis all season.

hargreaves has that little more about him than carrick, as previously stated carrick has a tendancy to drift in concentration while hargreaves is solid in defending and has shown he can attack too, that said they are both good in their roles and there isnt many who you could replace either with🙄
