france is the first to be eliminated with a 4th place finish in their group.
guess they were just a little over-rated at #9 ?

Where is the USA? They beat 8th rated England in a tie game.

# 1 Brazil has lived up to its billing and advanced.
So has #4 Netherlands....maybe a little bit under-rated, but not much

Fifa ratings don't represent the team's quality. They are simple crap and mean nothing.

Another one bites the dust.
Another of the "Magnificent Seven" fails to make it out of group stage as Italy joins France.
Do you think #5 in the world might be a bit of a stretch for a team that finished last in the easiest group in the draw?
European woes continue...2 down, 5 to go

They're still the reigning world champions. Although not for long...

at least two more of the magnificent 7 will fall in the first round. Not a great showing for Europe in this cup.

no surpise it was England, taking there worst drubbing ever in the cup.
they were #8 coming in? and germany was # 6?
sure did not look like the 6th best team playing the 8th
more like the 1st or 2nd best team playing the 18th or 20th.
do you think maybe England was over-rated at 8th?
