Kaka played great against Manchester Uniteds weak defense.

Liverpool are a great team with a great manager and a history that betters even Barcelona's. Liverpool are desparate for decent wide players, especially one that plays both flanks. He would be loved by some of the most knowledgable and loyal fans in the world. He could also learn something from Steven Gerrard for whom Messi is just a pimple on his bum.

In saying all that though it is very hard to leave a great club like Barcelona. What a ground, what great fans and what great football.

Rooney is a good player but I must say that Dida was has faults on the first and third goal where he should have been covered his side.

By the way Messi is just another category, comparing him to Rooney is not possible.

Rooney is the most complete all round player in the world.

He has it all, he is a big game player.
He single handedly beat Ac Milan on Tuesday.

Messi is awesome attacking with the ball.

But Rooney has everything, goals, amazing vision and assists, he tracks back and defends all the time, he scores amazing goals.
Did you not see his second goal against Milan, amazing considering he was competing against Nesta in thr 91st minute, what a strike.

He is so strong you can't knock him off the ball, he can play in any position on the pitch and play at a world class level.

Messi plays in a slow paced league, he would never be able to compete consistently against an English or Italian style team.

The quality of play in Spain is too slow paced.
Any league that Diego Forlan can score goals in must be an easy league to play in.

Where was Messi when Barcelona played Chelsie?

Messi is class, but Rooney is destined to be the greatest player since Maradona.

Be careful though, if Messi gets better, he will sign for Chelski.

Man you’re hilarious! Rooney only got his 1st against AC due to a awesome ball from Scholes and it was a pretty scrappy finish. His second was a pretty good shot but Dida made a mess of it and so did the AC defence. Other than that he really did jack all for most of the game. He is really good but you simply cannot compare him to the likes of Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Henry etc.

Saying he is the next Maradona is hysterical.

What this thread needs is a good spin off thread. How about Mickey Rooney is GOD?
