This after inking Sanchez to a big contract a couple of weeks ago.

I give up. The Jets' front office really seems at this point to have not a clue as to what it's doing.

What a shame. This is a team that went to 2 straight AFC title games not too long ago.

Maybe I should just learn to follow rugby or something. :'(

Anything with Tebow needs to go to the Spirituality Forum!
Good thing they cleaned up Times Square in anticipation of His Coming.

Looks like the deal may fall through because of a contract provision that would require the Jets to pay millions.

The contract calls for any team acquiring Tebow to pay back the pro rated portion
of the advance money Denver paid to Tebow. That would amount to a little over
    5 million.

Hell, the Jets were stealing the guy in the draft pick swap....basically a swap
of a 4th for 7th and flip flopping 3rd round picks.

The jets don't want New England getting the guy. They wouldn't hear the end of it
if Belichick beats their asses with Tebow at H back.

Rugby might be the game Tebow was designed for.

Right on the money as ususal, shortie! Jets will find a spot to use him and since the team needs motivation and fire no one better than Tebow for such purposes!

    Damning with faint praise!
But that's not fair to the rugby players, as Tebow's IQ, judged by his behavior, cannot leave much room below.
He will fit in with the Jets on that score however.

HOw do you figure Tebow's or anyone's IQ? What only atheists are enlightened, nuanced intelligent people? I think your statement says more about your IQ than Tebow's!

There is a correlation between low IQ and social/religious conservative. Did you see that recent study out of the UK?

From an article about a recent UK study.

Low IQ behind some conservative beliefs

Children with low intelligence are more likely to grow up to be social conservatives and racists, researchers found in a study published out of the U.K.

The study, which appeared in the journal Psychological Science and was written up by LifeScience, built upon previous research linking low education with prejudice, using data from two studies testing IQ and then political beliefs.

“As suspected, low intelligence in childhood corresponded with racism in adulthood. But the factor that explained the relationship between these two variables was political: When researchers included social conservatism in the analysis, those ideologies accounted for much of the link between brains and bias,” LifeScience wrote.

Lead researcher Gordon Hodson, of Brock University in Ontario, concluded that people with low IQs are attracted to the hierarchy and structure in socially conservative institutions. . . .

It reflects really poorly on you if you believe such drivel. More marxist bs of the lowest order!

How does all that explain OWS? Whatever you may believe about conservatives at least they don't poop and pee in public the way your "nuanced", allegedly high IQ liberals like to or are apt to do! If you truly believe such studies then you are of a lowlier IQ than those you engage in ad hominem attacks against! Further, if you believe such garbage then one would have to presume that racism is the exclusive domain of conservatives. To wit you have Farrakhan, Obama, Rev Wright, Maxine Waters, Jesse Jackson, Bil Maher, and many, many others. To what exactly might you attribute their racism?

I was just merely alluding to the massive amounts of objective data out there linking low IQ with social/religious conservatives.

Many of the rest of us are not surprised,
